If a window does not open correctly it doesn't’t always mean it’s a total new window needed….

It maybe a gap around the frame which could be new hinges, simple adjustments or even new rubber seals to get rid of a draught.

You may need a new handle or a window mechanism which can be obtained, fitted getting it back to it's original state.

Doors can suffer similar issues not locking smoothly or not at all, often this can be resolved could be a simple adjustment to the hinges or keeps.

W can provide and fit new door hinges, locks and keeps in fact really any part of a Upvc door can be found to do the repair a door or window.

Doors and windows that are over 20 years old are often harder to repair but not impossible, give us a call and we can come round and check for you.

Glass that’s misted, broken or not up to standard can also be changed. Which in many cases can not only improve the look it can also make windows more efficient potentially saving money.

In June 2022 new building regulations can into force - trickle vents must be fit tied to most replacement windows. This is to ensure adequate background ventilation. These vents are small openings in the window or door frame, allow for continuous airflow even when closed, preventing moisture buildup and improving indoor air quality.  We can provide trickle vents to existing windows and doors, where better airflow is needed.

Added security is something that can be provided - new higher standard barrel locks or sash jammers and restrictors.
